Hello! I'm Stephie, the founder of Stephie's Lingerie. I discovered lingerie design after having my first child. Like many new moms, I struggled to find a bra that fit well and felt comfortable in. Using my 10+ years of experience in sewing upholstery and interior design, I decided to take matters into my own hands and made my very first bra.

What started as a personal project quickly evolved into something more substantial. I began making bras for my friends, who loved them and spread the word. Before I knew it, I was receiving referrals, and my passion project turned into a custom lingerie business.

As my business expanded, I realized I was spending too much on retail-priced supplies. I also faced challenges in finding affordable, high-quality elastics in bulk. To address this, I sought out manufacturers that produce specialty elastics, and customized hook and eyes for silky smooth, seamless backsides in a variety of metal colors.

I fell in love with these high-quality materials and knew that others in the DIY lingerie community would too. Because minimum order quantities were so high and my own sewing operations were small-scale, I decided to share these custom materials with other sewists.
